Private Food Tours

I have led food tours in Paris for over five years, drawing on my background as a food historian, journalist, and restaurant critic for publications like Palate Magazine and Culinary Backstreets. My work ranges from interviewing three-star Michelin chefs and the maître pâtissier at the Ritz, to documenting the small-scale diaspora cooking and immigrant kitchens that form the backbone of the city’s food scene.

With the increase in restaurant chains and generic online reviews, it is more important than ever to celebrate wonderful, independent producers in Paris. Rather than visiting standard tourist spots, my food tours connect you directly with neighbourhood artisans and shopkeepers, uncovering the stories and craft behind their food.
